Here We Go...

Well, welcome to my brand-spanking-new blog!  Over the past few months I have fallen in love with the blogging community, and I have decided it is time for my to take a whack at it.






So who am I?  My name is Molly Gould and I am a Junior at SLU.  I've always had a bit of a love-hate relationship with food, which (unfortunately) turned into a purely hate relationship this summer.  In an attempt to loose weight I developed an unhealthy way of eating and stopped enjoying food at all.  I didn't know how to be "healthy" and still enjoy the food I was eating.  After getting over my unhealthy aversion to food, I have adopted a "Middle Minded"attitude about life.  






Being "Middle Minded" means having a healthy lifestyle with both a healthy diet and a good amount of exercise, but also having a blast and eating what is fun to eat and tastes good.  I believe that it is very important to eat fruits, veggies, whole grains, healthy oils, and lean protein!






But along with the necessity of consuming those delicious and nutritious foods, I also believe that cookies and ice-cream and pizza can (and should) occasionally find their way into my diet.






After all, I'm a college student!  I've gotta break the rules every once in awhile ;-)






So here it is, my start at living a Middle Minded life.  Will you join me?
